Your responsibilities
You lead the PV Project Engineering team in Madrid, overseeing all professional tasks and responsibilities.
You take charge of the technical topics for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems and hybrid (Wind/PV/BESS) systems from the project development phase to the project operation phase, reporting and presenting to the Head of Engineering.
You drive the development of planning abilities and processes within the team, actively contributing to the enhancement of system standards.
You manage employee hiring, onboarding, and all aspects of employee management, including vacation planning and deployment.
You are responsible for employee development, ensuring continuous growth and skill advancement within the team.
You supervise technical planning for contract preparation, ensuring thorough oversight and quality control.
You take responsibility for technical innovation and optimize project design from both technical and economical perspectives.
You oversee technical site visits and Technical Due Diligence (TDD) processes.
You manage and coordinate all technical aspects, including grid interconnection, external resources, and project implementation, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
You contribute to our success if
You have completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering or similar.
You have 5+ years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry, ideally in Spain and Portugal
You have 3+ years' experience in leading and managing a team.
You have solid knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst.
You have in depth knowledge of codes, regulations and best practices for utility scale PV plants in Spain and Portugal
You are willing to travel occasionally
You are business fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus!
