Solar power plants
Q ENERGY develops, builds, and operates solar power plants across our European markets. We realise ground-mounted and floating solar power plants as well as agricultural photovoltaic (Agri-PV) projects and we operate along the entire value chain: from site selection and project development to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), to operations and maintenance (O&M) of power plants, all the way to financing solutions.
Onshore wind
Q ENERGY is a full-service provider for onshore wind projects. With more than 20 years of experience as a leading player in the French market, Q ENERGY is currently expanding its onshore wind business to Germany, Spain, and Portugal. All technical, regulatory, and environmental aspects of the wind farm lifecycle are managed by our teams.
Repowering
Many of Europe's wind projects are reaching the end of their technical lifespan after more than 20 years of operation. However, the decommissioning of the old turbines does not necessarily mean the end of the wind farm. Q ENERGY focuses on repowering and is as such one of the pioneers in France. Offshore Wind
Offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating, are one of the key sectors for accelerating the energy transition in Europe. Offshore wind energy is essential for producing green hydrogen on a large scale and is therefore an important business segment for Q ENERGY. Our team has been active in the offshore wind industry since 2003 and was involved in one of the first offshore wind farms in France. Battery energy storage systems
Stand-alone energy storage and hybridised power plants are important elements in Europe's energy transition, offering a range of benefits that contribute to a more sustainable, reliable, and efficient electricity system. Q ENERGY therefore combines wind farms, solar power plants and battery energy storage systems wherever possible and offers stand-alone energy storage solutions. Green Hydrogen
Based on our experience and expertise in renewable energy, Q ENERGY is also planning projects to accelerate the introduction of green hydrogen systems. Solar power plants, wind farms and energy storage systems will play an important role in supplying the growing electrolysis capacity in Europe. Several teams at Q ENERGY are therefore working intensively on green hydrogen solutions and collaborations.
