Your responsibilities:
- Identify and rank potential sites for greenfield renewable project development, considering transmission, resource, permitting, land use and ownership, stakeholder, site, and other constraints.
- Develop internal standards and processes for the engineering work in development phase
- Create and coordinate the development and review of energy production models, including sensitivity analysis for asset evaluation
- Create and coordinate engineering input for cost estimation such as bill of materials, scopes of work
- Measurement campaigns design/follow up/ monitoring/data analysis from meteorological masts or remote sensing methods (Lidar)
- Energy Yield Assessments
- Development of programming tools and databases to manage information, measurement equipment and meteorological masts.
- Prospecting, site selection, analysis and use of Mesoscale products.
- Meteorological Towers Management: Coordination and management of tower maintenance subcontracts, scheduling of maintenance plans and statistical analysis of wind data.
- Design and Optimization of wind farms: Elaboration of layouts, micrositting, technology and wind turbine selection, noise and flickering studies (simple and complex terrain).
- Site Energy Assessment: Production reporting, uncertainty assessment, loss calculation, site verification (IEC61400-1).
Your contribute to our success if:
- You have successfully completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering or a related discipline and bring a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the renewable energy, with a focus on at least 3 years of experience in wind energy
- You demonstrate strong project design and management skills, ensuring that our renewable energy projects are efficiently planned and executed
- You have expert knowledge of electrical standards in Europe and utility interconnection standards to ensure compliance and efficiency in our projects
- You stay abreast of the latest trends in wind energy within the renewable energy sector, contributing your insights to our market strategies
- You speak Spanish and English fluently
