Your responsibilities
- You analyze, own, and maintain complex financial models in the context of feasibility analysis, acquisitions, sell-down or financing processes.
- You evaluate investments in projects in the development stage to support internal investment decisions.
- You lead Renewable Energy M&A and/or Project Finance transactions from beginning to end, comprising the following:
- You engage and manage internal and/or external advisors
- You prepare marketing materials and manage the set of transaction VDR
- You contact and manage relationships with potential investors and/or lenders
- You conduct due diligence processes, VDR and Q&A management
- You negotiate the main contracts: HoA, SPA, EPC, O&M, PPAs, etc. and Financing Agreements until Completion and/or Financial Close.
- You coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and supervise the accomplishment of key tasks that affect the transaction timeline, as well as reporting to the management
- You identify key transaction risks and propose mitigation measures
- You establish and nurture solid, long-term relationships with international and local investors and lenders.
- You support the structuring of innovative financial solutions involving Capital Markets, if necessary.
You contribute to our success if
- You hold a degree in Finance, Business Administration and/or Engineering with a financial/accounting post-graduate degree or similar.
- You have over 5 years of experience in M&A and/or Project Finance transactions in the energy sector
- Proficient financial modelling skills being able to work on a financial model autonomously. VBA skills would be advantageous.
- You have high level skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- You have good communication and negotiation skills
- You are a pro-active and self-motivated person
- You are a team player, and have strong coordination and organizational skills
- You are business fluent in English and Spanish. Any other European language is advantageous.
