POSITION SUMMARY
The Pre-Construction Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Business Development Team with technical related assessments of new project opportunities and budgeting, manage technical pre-construction risks and activities, and lead from the construction perspective the early projects to ready to build stage.
Your responsibilities
- You will collaborate directly with the Business Development Department for opportunities and bids and review all project documentation for preparation of designing and construction.
- You lead pre-construction services including designing, budgeting, and tendering for various services and components. As well as reconciling estimates with consultants and project team members and senior management.
- You will arrange and/or perform site visits to review existing conditions and to identify technical risks and review and develop basic project schedules.
- You align with involved parties to lead project related subcontracts for consultants, external support, and General Subcontractors until start of construction.
- Verify invoices and prepare contracts and other documents regarding the project scope until the start of construction.
- You possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify problems and solutions before they become real issues.
You contribute to our success if
- You have completed your studies in industry related fields or similar and have 3+ years of experience as an (Assistant) Project Manager, or equivalent role, in the construction industry, ideally in the renewables.
- You demonstrate proficiency in reviewing project documentation and contract management, ensuring thorough preparation for design and construction phases.
- You possess expertise in planning and scheduling and budgeting of construction projects
- You have strong project management skills, particularly in leading project-related subcontracts until the project is ready for construction.
- You are business fluent in German and English. Italian or Dutch language skills are a plus!
