Performance Engineer (all genders)

You create high-quality PV plant energy simulation results for utility-scale PV plants and Hybrid plants (PV/Wind/BESS);  

You provide sensitivity analysis of PV energy simulations for the financial evaluation of project opportunities and develop internal standards and processes for energy simulation, plant performance test, SCADA scope of works, etc. 

You perform PV plant performance review of operational data, incl. performance testing to industry standards 

You develop specifications and bills of quantities for PV plants and SCADA systems, technical contract exhibits for PV plant performance assessments, testing, and commissioning 

You coordinate external resources such as Independent Engineers, SCADA Engineers, and other specialized professionals as needed 

You review site characteristics, meteorological data, project documentation, public records for detailed energy simulations, and guidance for technical specifications of equipment 

You provide recommendations for continuous improvements in project engineering and engineering processes and present the technical findings and opinions to internal and external stakeholders in meetings and written communication 

You provide technical training to other team members and new employees and collaborate with other team members 

You interface with vendor, client, consultant, subcontractor for technical questions and supervise the construction phase, if needed, instigating corrective actions 

You design and commission monitoring systems (coordinating internet provider, LV contractor, Monitoring and Inverter supplier) 

You have completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering or similar.   

You have 3+ years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry, previous experience in energy simulation of utility scale battery energy storage systems is preferred 

You are experienced in coordinating Owners Engineers in regards of PV plant simulation and performance testing 

You know the workflow of projects (what comes next, prior) and have experience leading projects from a technical side, working independently on the tasks from beginning to completion.    

You are willing to travel occasionally.

You are business fluent in English. Any other language is a plus!
